PHASE 2 - GETTING STARTED
Governance and Administration Policy Document
"Simplicity leads to clearer thinking"
To enable our Clients to have a clearer understanding of the prerequisites needed to gain certification to the Client's chosen standard and/or scheme document, a "Governance and Administration Policy" document will be compiled that interprets the requirements of the "standard and scheme document" into easy understood literature.
The "Governance and Administration Policy" will also give Senior Management the opportunity to discuss inherent Company "governance policies" for inclusion into the document that will promote the ethos of the Company. This is classed as the "foundation" document.
Working Programme
The success of introducing work processes into a Company is determined by a number of principles which will make future audits an effective and reliable tool for identifying improvements within the Company. The three main principles embodied in the Qualstanplus® model are:
- The assessment and evaluation of Critical Success Factors (CSF) essential to work-process control and accountability.
- Assessment and evaluation of metrics for appraising the effectiveness and efficiency of: applicable standards and scheme documents, internal controls, operations, information flows and resource allocations including their effective use.
- Levels of documentation, compliance and maintenance of business-critical work processes.
Flow-charting
"Making sense of complexity"
Work processes are produced in a flow-chart format that:
- Illustrates the sequence of work tasks from commencement to completion.
- Identifies work related responsibilities.
- Highlights controls.
- X-references work tasks to the "foundation" document.
- Correlation of multiple work processes.
